We believe that, when you’re away it’s nice to have the peace of mind knowing your pets can stay in the safety and comfort of your home and maintain their normal routine.

So we have designed a range of services to meet the varied needs of dogs, cats, other pets — and you.

Our Sitters are First Rate

We contract ONLY dedicated pet care professionals.

We work with sitters who have practical experience in the pet care field and view their time with Athens Pet Sitter as part of their career path.

We run an extensive screening process on all our sitters.

Meet Daniel & Melinda Walker

Melinda started Athens Pet Sitter in 2006 after five years with local non-profits and earning a Bachelor of Business Administration from UGA’s Terry College of Business.

Daniel joined APS in 2007 after eight years in operations and business management and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Georgia College and State University.

Daniel and Melinda are here to design a pet care plan with you and to ensure that plan is executed to the highest standards.

The Walkers live in Monroe with their daughters Sophie and Elle, an energetic puppy named Disco, and 2 kitties Ivy and Blue. Blue is the king of the house.
